What clothes to pack on your safari trip?

  • Warm Clothes: Mornings and evenings can get chilly, so pack some cosy layers. Trust me, you'll appreciate that extra sweater during those early drives.

  • Tennis Shoes: Perfect for those safari drives and walking trails.

  • Sandals: Great for daytime and summer strolls. Let your toes breathe and enjoy the safari too.

  • Long Sleeve Shirt & Long Pants: Ideal for game viewing – keeps you comfy and protected. Plus, it helps keep the bugs away.

  • Light, Cotton Clothing: Shirts and shorts for those hot, humid days. Think breathable and easy.

  • Lightweight Waterproof Jacket: Handy for cool weather, winter, or surprise rain showers. Because nobody likes being caught in a downpour unprepared. (If you don’t want to pack so much extra clothing, don’t worry - we sell amazing waterproof Mac-In-A-Sac rain jackets at our in-house curio store.)

  • Gloves & Scarf: Winter travellers, you’ll thank me when you're sitting cosy and warm on the game drive whilst everyone else who didn’t read my blog is cursing at the icy wind on the open vehicle.

  • Swim Suit: A must for summer dips. You never know when you’ll want to take a refreshing swim.

  • Peak or Wide Brimmed Hat: Stay stylish and sun-safe. Plus, it’s perfect for those selfie moments. (These can also be purchased at the curio store if you wish.)

  • Sunglasses: Because squinting at wildlife isn’t fun. Protect your eyes and look cool doing it.

  • Gym Attire: If you’re planning to hit the gym. Yes, even the wild has workout warriors.
